Last Sunday was Harvest Sunday, and what a great day it was! Despite a tough economy, our High Pointe members generously donated and pledged $167,093.90 towards our local and global outreach efforts. Praise God! Here are some links to various Haiti disaster relief efforts, provided by our friends at Missions Resource Network. Please keep the people in Haiti in your prayers. We'll keep you posted on High Pointe's response.
Many of our members are looking for work. Does this describe you? We want to do what we can to help people connect with Christians who may know of a job opportunity.
The food pantry always needs rice & beans (1-lb. bags), peanut butter, and cereal (hot or cold). Walmart has the $1 bag cereal on their top shelf. And I think Brookshire's has both rice and beans on sale this week. Happy shopping and thank you!!!
